The Bible’s explanation of its development and preservation strikes a fatal blow to the claims of other religions. A religion is only as good as the prophet & revelation that begat it. By virtue of the Bible’s explanation of how revelation comes and is compiled, we know that other religions are based on false prophets and false revelation. Read more »

Amos 8, Isaiah 8-9, Daniel 9, and Zechariah 13 all have their fulfillment in the 1st century and show that God is the one who sovereignly determines to withdraw revelation temporarily and, ultimately, permanently. Read more »

The validity of Bible-based Christianity depends on the veracity of its canon. We can be sure that God’s Word—the Bible—has been transmitted to us in tact so that the Scriptures to which Jesus and the Apostles referred is the Bible we possess today. God promised to preserve it and he has. Read more »

God himself breathed out the Scriptures, Jesus regarded them as ultimately authoritative, and New Testament writers equated the Scriptures with God’s words. Thus it is proper for us to say that the Scriptures are God’s Word. Read more »

We desperately need God’s words and those words are inspiredly, authoritatively, sufficiently, clearly, and finally recorded in the Bible. He has spoken to men in various ways and the fruit of this revelation is in the Bible. The Bible itself tells us when to expect revelation and when to know new revelation has ended. We are also equipped to discern between the real words of life and false impostors who would lead us astray. I pray that God would open the eyes of your understanding to see the treasures of his written word; a word written so that you may believe and have eternal life (John 20.31). Read more »

terms, not on ours. This is in itself evidence of God’s mercy; he didn’t have to condescend to communicate with us yet he has. We, mere creatures, are made in his image and are able to commune with him! Extraordinary! God can communicate with us and he has communicated with us. If he hadn’t done so we would be groping around in the dark with no sure word from God. Thankfully he has given us his words whereby we can know how to glorify and enjoy him forever! Read more »

We urge you to seek the only one who can provide forgiveness, hope, and the truth; indeed only the Lord Jesus Christ can give your soul rest and fulfill the promise of eternal life (Matthew 11.29). All other paths ignore the true nature of the questions or they lead you away from the one path that leads to the one Savior. Read more »

We implore you to seek for truth where it can be found — the Bible. It alone is true because it alone is authored by God himself; everything and everyone else will pass away but the word of the Lord stands forever. The Bible was written that you may know the truth, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and have eternal life (John 20.31; Luke 1.3-4). Read more »
