What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Proclaiming the
GOSPEL
in Utah

This most basic creed of biblical churches, as most familiarly known, is called the Apostles’ Creed. It has received this title because of its great antiquity; it dates from very early times in the Church, a century or so from the last writings of the New Testament.

I believe in God the Father[1], Almighty[2],
    the Maker of heaven and earth[3],
    and in Jesus Christ, His only Son[4], our Lord[5]:

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit[6],
    born of the virgin Mary[7],
    suffered[8] under Pontius Pilate[9],
    was crucified[10], dead[11], and buried[12];

The third day[14] He arose again from the dead[15][16];

He ascended into heaven[17],
    and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty[18];
    from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead[19].

I believe in the Holy Spirit[20][21];
    the holy[22] catholic 1 church[23];
    the communion of saints[24];
    the forgiveness of sins[25];
    the resurrection of the body[26];
    and the life everlasting[27].

Amen.
