What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Proclaiming the
in Utah

We are an outreach ministry seeking to proclaim the gospel of Christ and gather God’s sheep into the church so they can grow through discipleship.

We believe*: the Bible is the Word of God, our only infallible rule of faith and life; we are born natural rebels against our Maker and without hope except for the mercy shown in Christ; we are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

What are our goals? How are we going to accomplish them? Good questions!

Mission — what we are called to do
Exalt the Savior, humble the sinner, promote true holiness.

Purpose — why we strive to fulfill our mission
Glorify God and enjoy him forever.

Values — key beliefs/practices that are essential to achieving our purpose
Worship, Prayer, Preaching, Discipleship, Evangelism, Fellowship, and Counseling.

Strategy — how we implement our values
Labor in our neighborhoods, schools, businesses, organizations, and homes.
Outreach through literature disbursement, neighbor evangelism, and public preaching.
Discipleship via pulpit preaching, family-head shepherding, and family visitation.

Too often in “religious” culture we think of worship as what we do for an hour or so on Sunday; but biblically-speaking, our whole life must be dedicated to worship. By faith in Christ man can once again worship God properly and the focus of our worship-life is the public gathering of the Lord’s people on the Lord’s day.

GOD Centered — Only the one living and true Triune God is the proper focus of worship. In congregational worship we buildup and encourage one-another, but the center of our worship is God. (Psalm 29.2)

GOD Regulated — We are not left to grope in the dark wondering how to worship God; he has told us in his holy, complete, and infallible word: the Bible. We have the privilege of worshiping God in the beauty of holiness. (Exodus 20.3-4)

GOD Empowered — Those who worship God properly worship him in spirit and truth. When the spirit indwells a worshiper we expect to see joyful praise, honest confession, heart-felt thanksgiving, and humble supplication. (Psalm 95.1-5)
